Mark Gerst, a native of Southern Indiana, graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana in 1983. Soon after joining Baird in 1993, Mark voluntarily undertook the rigorous requirements needed to become a Certified Financial Planner® to enhance the skill set that he delivers to his clients today.
Outside of the office, Mark is a past Secretary and Board Member of the Evansville Rotary Club and chaired its annual gala fundraiser. He is also a longtime supporter of ChildFund International as well as the United Way of Southern Indiana. When he's not investing for your financial future, Mark invests in our community's children by giving his time in youth sports. He has coached Little League baseball, track, soccer, and basketball - but mostly wrestling. Mark served as League Commissioner of the Southern Indiana Elementary Wrestling Conference, serving 12 teams with over 400 wrestlers. He and his wife, Mary, have four sons and reside in Newburgh, Indiana.
